Roots of Jazz Rhythm Guitar, Part 3: Passing Chords
Matt shows you how he varies the blues progression with passing chords, including some diminished chords and different inversions and voicings of chords. He walks you through voicings for major, minor, seventh, and minor seventh chords in three inversions, demonstrating that some voicings or “grips” can be used for different chords, Gm for Bb6, G7 for Dm6 or Ddim, etc.
