More Chord Melody Voicings, Part 1: Triads on the Middle Strings
You’ve already learned the closed-voice triad voicings on the top three strings. In this lesson you’ll learn them on the second, third, and fourth strings, starting with root-position voicings in the key of F. Matt also shows you how to take a major triad voicing and make it minor, diminished, seventh, major seventh, etc. You’ll also learn first-inversion voicings in C major and second-inversion voicings in G with advice on using fingerings that allow you to move most quickly to the next chord shape.
