Suzanne

One of the great singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen’s early hits was “Suzanne,” a song that inspired Stevie in his early days of fingerstyling. You’ll learn Stevie’s arrangement in this lesson, which includes a cool fingerstyle pattern over the first long G chord, and then arpeggiated patterns over the Am, Bm, and C chords. Stevie walks you through each section, explaining his chord choices and other embellishments. You’ll also learn a couple of variations with some alternate bass lines. He ends by singing and playing through an entire verse so you can see how it all fits together.
