“Blue Ridge Cabin Home” is a bluegrass classic that comes from Flatt and Scruggs. In this lesson you’ll learn to play a simple solo on “Blue Ridge Cabin Home” in the key of A. Chad starts by walking you through the A major scale and the notes of the arpeggios of the I, IV, and V chords in the key of A: A, D, and E. Then he walks you through the basic melody of “Blue Ridge Cabin Home” and shows you how to add simple drones to the melody.
