We're happy to announce that Tony McManus has joined Peghead Nation's guitar instruction staff with a brand new video course called Celtic Guitar, and the course is now live!
As Tony explains in the course introduction video above, you'll learn to play jigs, reels, airs, and other traditional forms both fingerstyle and with a flatpick. You'll learn to play the melodies to popular Celtic tunes, and will learn how to bring those tunes to life with the ornamentation that defines Irish and Scottish traditional music.
Tony McManus is recognized throughout the world as one of the leading guitarists in Celtic music, and his work has come to represent Celtic music in the guitar world. He tours widely as a solo performer and in collaboration with musicians like Martin Simpson, Dougie MacLean, Natalie MacMaster, Alisdair Fraser, and many others. The most recent of his many recording projects is an album with Italian guitar master Beppe Gambetta called Round Trip. We're happy to have him join the Peghead Nation ranks!
