Peghead Nation fiddle instructor Chad Manning is a talented multi-instrumentalist, and while he was in the studio recording lessons for his Beginning/Intermedaite Fiddle and Bluegrass Fiddle courses, he took a run through the jam-session favorite “Whiskey Before Breakfast” on mandolin, joined by our co-founder and guitar instructor Scott Nygaard.

Chad is the fiddle player in David Grisman's Bluegrass Experience and the David Grisman Sextet, and in this video, he plays a Giacomel mandolin on loan from David.

Learn fiddle with Chad in his Beginning/Intermedaite Fiddle and Bluegrass Fiddle courses, and study theory with him in his Theory for Mandolin and Fiddle course on Peghead Nation.

Learn guitar with Scott in any of his four courses: Roots and Bluegrass Rhythm Guitar, Intermediate Flatpicking Guitar, Flatpicking Guitar, or Weekly Guitar Workout.
