Steel Guitar–Style Lines

In this lesson, Matt shows you some harmonized lines that imitate the steel guitar. He does this by moving through inversions of triads and changing just one or two notes as he moves to the next triad. He starts by showing you three-note inversions on the top three strings, and then shows you a steel guitar–style solo on “It Makes No Difference Now.”
