The Bob Wills classic “San Antonio Rose” started life as a fiddle instrumental and was recorded by Wills in 1938. It was so popular that Wills added lyrics and included them, sung by Tommy Duncan, on his 1940 recording called “New San Antonio Rose.” Chad shows you the melody (in the key of D) in this video.
