The instrumental tune “Panhandle Shuffle” comes from the Sons of the West, a Western swing group who played around Amarillo, TX during the late 1930s and early ’40s. They were founded in 1936 by fiddler Son Lansford, a cousin of Bob Wills. You’ll learn the melody of “Panhandle Shuffle” in this video.
