Working with a Metronome, Week One |
In this series of workouts, Ethan gives you advice on working with a metronome, with exercises using the fiddle tune “East Tennessee Blues,” although you can use any tune with a lot of eighth notes. In this first exercise, Ethan shows you how to play with the metronome set to half notes on downbeats (one and three) and then offbeats (two and four). For this he sets the metronome at 45 bpm.
