In the second part of the lesson on blues vocabulary in B, you’ll learn pianist Wynton Kelly’s solo on “Freddie Freeloader” from Kind of Blue. The solo has an array of interesting phrases rhythmically and harmonically that can be difficult to pull off on the mandolin, but Joe shows you the way he has figured out how to phrase them. You’ll learn the first chorus of Wynton Kelly’s solo in this video.
