The Floating Crowbar, Part 1 |
“The Floating Crowbar” is a reel written by accordionist Finbarr Dwyer. The version Flynn teaches you comes from guitarist Arty McGlynn’s 1979 album McGlynn’s Fancy. Arty played it with a capo at the third fret, putting it in the key of F, although it’s usually played in D. There are a lot of slurred triplets in both parts and a couple of trebles on the open G string. You’ll learn the A part of “The Floating Crowbar” in this video.
