Minor Triads on the Top Middle Strings, Part 2: D, B, and G Minor
And it’s time for “the saddest of all keys” on the top middle strings: D minor. Mark shows you the D minor close-voiced triads on the top middle strings and then gives you some drills that combine them with the triads on the top three strings, Am and Em triads, and even shows you a drill that combines minor triads with their major counterparts. Then you’ll move on to the B minor triads on the top middle strings, and a drill that combines the E minor, A minor, D minor, and B minor triads on the top middle strings. Finally, you’ll finish off with G minor and combinations of all the five minor triad voicings on the top middle strings.
