In this video, Orville shows you the accompaniment pattern he plays with his thumb on this blues, a shuffle rhythm on the open strings: A, D, and E, which correspond to the I, IV, and V chords in the key of A. He also shows you how to keep your slide out of the way of the open bass strings while playing chords with the slide on the top strings and explains the cool turnaround he uses at the end of the form.
