“St. Anne’s Reel” is a Canadian fiddle tune that has become popular wherever fiddlers are gathered. Before Chad walks you through the tune, which is in the key of D, he checks in on your bow hold and reminds you how to play a D major scale. Then he plays each phrase of the A part of “St. Anne’s Reel” slowly so you can play along with him. He also points out the phrases in the tune that outline D and G chords, finishing with a couple times through the entire A part at a slow tempo.
