Blackberry Blossom, Part 1
Blackberry Blossom, Part 1

In this lesson, you’ll learn the old-time and bluegrass fiddle standard “Blackberry Blossom,” along with the bowing pattern Chad plays. He starts by playing “Blackberry Blossom” through at a medium speed and then shows you the A part melody slowly, phrase by phrase. After playing the A part through slowly a couple of times, so you can play along with him, Chad shows you the bowing he’s using, primarily the “Nashville shuffle,” as well as a couple variations.
