In this lesson, you’ll learn some closed positions on the fiddle that will allow you to play bluegrass fiddle licks in any key. “Closed position” means that there are no open strings, so you can move the position anywhere on the fingerboard. Chad starts by showing you a closed-position major-pentatonic lick, and then shows you how to move it from the I chord of the key to the IV and V chords. He starts in Bb and then moves through numerous keys: B, C, D, E, F, and G.
