Lydia Luce: “Occasionally” | L.R. Baggs
The singer-songwriter performs a stripped-down version of a song from her album Dark River.
Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Lydia Luce co-wrote “Occasionally” with Jordan Lehning, and the song is included on her latest album, Dark River. But while the album version includes a complex arrangement with a full band and strings, the version in this video, which was shot in L.R. Baggs’ Nashville studio, is stripped down to a duo, with Lydia being joined by guitarist Antony de Costa. Lydia’s Waterloo guitar is equipped with an L.R. Baggs Lyric internal mic and run through a Voiceprint D.I., and Anthony’s Collings is run through L.R. Baggs Align Series Session, Equalizer, and D.I. pedals.
