“Landslide” | Northfield Mandolins
Brian Oberlin plays an instrumental take of an original tune on a Northfield Quickstep Mandola.
Northfield recently introduced its first mandola with the new Quickstep. Built completely in Northfield’s Marshall, Michigan shop, the Quickstep is an A-Style instrument that’s constructed with Michigan Maple back and sides and a West Virginian red spruce top.
In this video, mandolinist Brian Oberlin plays an instrumental version of his original “Landslide” on the instrument. For a version of the tune featuring Brian’s vocals, check out his album Troubador.
