Jim Ranger, “The House of the Rising Sun” | L. R. Baggs
Jim Ranger and Ian Flanigan perform a duo version of the classic song.
Jim Ranger is a singer-songwriter and worship leader who has been around music all of his life. He has self-produced two solo albums, Remember, and You Call Me, and appeared in season 19 of The Voice. In this video, produced by L.R. Baggs at Nashville’s SoundCheck, Jim performs the traditional “House of the Rising Sun,” accompanied by Ian Flanigan on second guitar. Jim plays a Martin 000 with an L.R. Baggs Anthem SL, and Ian plays a Taylor Grand Auditorium with an L.R. Baggs Element Active System. Both guitars are run through L.R. Baggs Align Active DI pedals.
