Peghead Nation instructor and Brazilian choro master Ian Coury plays an Ellis A5 Reserve Honey Amber at the Music Emporium in Lexington, Massachusetts. Built with a red spruce top and quilted maple back and sides, this mandolin features tortoise binding and an engraved Weldon Lister tailpiece.
Audio recorded via a Samar VL37A ribbon mic running into a “Volt” interface from @Universal Audio. No additional processing or EQ has been added.
