Cristina Vane, “Ramblin’” | Santa Cruz Guitar

Guitarist and singer Cristina Vane plays the Scrapper Blackwell classic at the Santa Cruz shop.

Cristina Vane is a multi-national guitarist, singer, and songwriter who is currently based in Nashville. With three albums to her credit, the latest of which is 2022’s Make Myself Me Again, Vane plays in an authentic, raw, roots music style, often using a slide, and relying on blues-style fingerpicking. In this video, shot during a visit to the Santa Cruz Guitar shop in Santa Cruz, California, she plays a version of Scrapper Blackwell’s “Ramblin'” using a Santa Cruz OM model built with walnut back and sides and an Adirondack spruce top.
