Boston-based guitarist and Berklee College of Music professor Jim Kelly plays a Collings AT-16 Varnish at the Music Emporium in Lexington, Massachusetts. Built in extremely rare quantities, the Collings AT-16 is based on classic vintage 16-inch acoustic archtops, with this particular example a varnish finish. Audio recorded with a Samar VL37A ribbon mic, running through a Grace “Felix” DI. No other editing or EQ has been added.
