Shortly after Lowden Guitars reached their 40th Anniversary, founder George Lowden realized they would soon be building their 20,000 guitar, and he wanted to do something special to mark that milestone. In this video, George talks about the beautiful “Genesis” guitar, built with African blackwood back and sides, and a sinker redwood top, and featuring an elaborate inlay pattern depicting the story of Genesis, from the big bang through the creation of man and woman.
