Boston-area mandolinist Dan Bui plays a Northfield Artist Series “4th Generation” F5 mandolin at the Music Emporium in Lexington, Massachusetts. Built closely to the specs of Lloyd Loar-erea F-5s, this instrument features an Adirondack spruce top, sugar maple back and sides, and a Cremona sunburst finish. In this video, the mandolin is recorded using an Ear Trumpet Labs Edwina microphone.
