The Incredible Story Of Martin Guitars | Martin Guitars
Chris Martin presents a lecture on his company's history at a special event at New York's Rudy's Music.
Founded in 1833, Martin Guitars has one of the longest histories of any contemporary musical instrument maker. Although Martin has been chronicled in numerous books, there’s no better way to learn about it than by having Christian Frederic Martin IV (who recently took on the role of Execute Chairman after 35 years as Martin’s CEO) tell the story of his family’s business in his own words. Martin Guitars recently held an event at New York’s Rudy’s Music at which Chris Martin did exactly that, assisted by Martin clinician Craig Thatcher, who demonstrates several instruments. This video, produced by Aaron Short Music, documents the event.
