Thompson Masterpiece Series | Thompson Guitars

A look at a koi fish-themed Thompson Masterpiece guitar.

Thompson luthier Joel Chadd and inlay artist Simon Haycraft discuss the company’s second Masterpiece series guitar, called the Koi Pond. Based on a 00-14 Fret Short Scale Quilted Western Maple model, the guitar features an extensive koi fish-inspired design combining inlay and wood staining techniques.
