Milestone Guitars | Martin Guitar
Martin Archives and Museum Manager Jason Ahner shows three special guitars from the company's museum.
Located at the company’s main factory and headquarters in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, the Martin Museum is open to the public and its exhibits include a wide range of instruments from Martin’s long history. In this video, Martin Archives and Museum Manager Jason Ahner shows three of the company’s “Milestone” guitars, which consist of the 1-millionth, 2-millionth, and 2.5 millionth guitars that Martin made. Built in 2007, Martin No. 1,000,000 features extensive inlay by Larry Robinson, while Martin No. 2,0000,000 (built in 2017) features a “passing of time” theme. The third guitar, Martin No. 2,5000,000, built in 2022, features the constellation in the night sky on November 6, 1833, the day Christian Frederick Martin Sr. arrived in New York, inlayed with diamonds. Watch as Jason shows and discusses details of each instrument!
