Martin CEO 10 | Martin Guitar
The first special edition guitar designed by Martin CEO Thomas Ripsam.
Martin Guitars has a long history of CEO-designed special editions. Having taking over leadership of the company in 2021, current Martin CEO Thomas Ripsam has now designed his first contribution to the series.
The CEO 10 ($8,999) is 14-fret 000 built with Guatemalan rosewood back and sides, and it uses FSC® Certified European spruce for its top and bracing. The guitar European flamed maple binding throughout, a compensated bone saddle, bone bridge pins with abalone dots on an ebony bridge, and an ebony fingerboard with Foden-style abalone inlay. The look is completed with a 1933 ambertone finish, gold open-gear tuners, and a custom headplate inlay on Guatemalan rosewood. The CEO 10 also features a Vintage Deluxe neck, which is slightly asymmetrical for comfort and playability. Each of the limited edition’s 100 guitars includes a label signed by Thomas Ripsam, and the instruments are numbered in sequence.
