Larrivée Guitars founder Jean Larrivée talks about making the decision to set up his own guitar shop once his mentor, German luthier Edgar Monch, left Toronto in 1968. Jean describes the first “real” shop, and bringing in Grit Laskin, David Wren, and others to help build nine Larrivée guitars a month.
