Chris Luquette’s New D-BA Sunburst | Thompson Guitars

Thompson Guitars signature artist picks up his latest dreadnought at the Sisters, Oregon workshop.

Chris Luquette is known as being one of the finest young flatpickers to emerge in recent years. Chris has played a Thompson signature model D-BA CRL for several years (check out his demo of the guitar, shot during a visit in the Peghead Nation studio in 2019), and he also has a matching 00-14MA. Chris recently picked up a new D-BA at the Thompson workshop in Sisters, Orgeon, and this video captures his reactions upon playing the guitar for the first time.
