Peghead Nation fiddle instructor Chad Manning plays with the David Grisman Sextet, the David Grisman Bluegrass Experience, Laurie Lewis and the Right Hands, and teaches regularly at his San Francisco Bay Area studio. We’re happy to announce that in September, Chad will be adding a theory course he’s designed specifically for mandolin and fiddle players.

In this new course, you’ll learn the basics of music theory as it relates to four-string instruments tuned in fifths. Chad’s practical approach will deepen your knowledge of chords, scales, and arpeggios, and help you integrate them into your playing. Watch Chad’s video introduction to the course, above.
