Guitar master Matt Munisteri recently hosted a live workshop, answering questions from students in his Roots of Jazz Guitar course. He touched on a wide range of topics, including how he has been using these last few months to transcribe be-bop solos and do other detailed work, how he embraced his own musical style, and some technical tips like how he plays arpeggios vertically on the fingerboard and how he works on tone while playing accompaniment. You can watch the full video from this workshop above.
We had a suggested donation of $25 for the event, and we still have the donation jar open if you care to contribute now. But we want you to be able to enjoy the workshop regardless of your financial circumstances, so please feel free to donate what you’re able to.
And sign up for Matt’s Roots of Jazz Guitar course on Peghead Nation to keep learning after the workshop!
