D’Addario Releases Two New Mini-Tuners

Based on D'Addario's popular NS Micro Tuner, these new units add functionality.

D’Addario has introduced two new additions to its line of Ned Steinberger-designed instrument tuners, both based on the highly popular NS Micro Tuner.

NS Micro Universal Tuner

The NS Micro Universal tuner adds a dual-swivel clip to the tuner, allowing for more viewing angles and easier viewing on instruments where the NS Micro mini-clip is difficult to fit. A multicolor display, calibration range between 410 and 480, and built-in metronome complete the package. $33.65. daddario.com

NS Micro Violin Tuner

The new NS Micro Violin Tuner features an easy-to-read multicolor display and metronome in a compact design. A gentle, lever-lock clamp holds the tuner securely to the instrument while allowing for easy application and removal. “The precision violin tuner is not only perfect for tuning,” says Lyris Hung, D’Addario Orchestral Product Manager, “the unique mounting system and fast pitch response allow it to be used as an effective practice tool for referencing and improving intonation while playing.” The NS Micro Violin Tuner works for viola as well and offers a wide calibration range (410 – 480) to accommodate all players’ needs. $36.95. daddario.com
