Beard Guitars JD Black Beard Demo
In the three decades since he built his first guitar, luthier Paul Beard has become one of the most in-demand builders of dobro-style resophonic guitars. In this video, Peghead Nation dobro instructor Mike Witcher demonstrates his Beard JD Black Beard Jerry Douglas signature model guitar, an instrument designed in collaboration between Beard and Douglas. The guitar is Witcher’s primary instrument, and in performance, he often plays it through a Fishman Jerry Douglas Signature Aura pedal (fishman.com).
