Iseman Guitars are built by luthiers Mark Iseman and Matthew Nigro at their shop on Oahu, Hawaii. The company offers flattop guitars, Selmer-style Gypsy jazz guitars, ukuleles, and Weissenborn-style lap steels. In this video, Peghead Nation Dobro instructor Mike Witcher demonstrates a custom Iseman Weissenborn with serial number 0039.

Based on the design of vintage Weissenborns of the 1920s, which featured a hollow-neck body style, the instrument is constructed of beautifully flamed Hawaiian koa on the top, back, and sides. Iseman Weissenborns are available with various appointments, including the classic “rope” binding found on many vintage Weissenborns, but the guitar in this demo has a simple appearance with no binding, a two-ring wood rosette, and simple dot position markers in the fingerboard. The guitar has vintage-style open-back tuning machines, and is outfitted with a Seymour Duncan MagMic pickup. Isemanguitars.com
