In this video, Ed Gerhard demonstrates and discusses his custom Breedlove Lap Steel and performs his arrangement of “Rye Whiskey Mash.” Built by luthier Jayson Bowerman (bowermanguitars.com) during his tenure at Breedlove Guitars (breedloveguitars.com), the Weissenborn-style guitar uses figured myrtle wood for its top, back, and sides and walnut for its binding, bridge, and fingerboard.
