Stevie Coyle: “Walking in the Air”
Peghead Nation’s Fingerstyle Guitar instructor plays his arrangement of the holiday favorite from the 1982 film “The Snowman.”
Peghead Nation fingerstyle instructor Stevie Coyle is an acclaimed fingerstyle guitarist, actor, singer, guitar-store owner, and juggler. A former member of the Waybacks, he spent several years touring the country and playing at major festivals, but today, he mostly performs as a solo artist, and is an in-demand teacher. He is the proprietor of Mighty Fine Guitars, a high-end guitar shop in Lafayette, California, which you can see in Stevie’s frequent Friday afternoon live streams on his Facebook page.
In this video, Stevie plays the tune “Walking in the Air,” which comes from the 1982 film The Snowman, and which has become a holiday favorite.
Stevie teaches his arrangement of this lovely melody in his Fingerstyle Guitar course on Peghead Nation.
