Mandolinist and Peghead Nation’s “Monroe Mondays” blogger Tristan Scroggins and violinist Alisa Rose recently released their first album of mandolin and violin duets, Grana, which includes six original tunes and seven improvisations on traditional and classical melodies.
Alisa and Tristan stopped by the Peghead Nation shortly before the release of Grana, and played “Eagle’s Nest,” an original tune that Tristan wrote and the duo worked on for the album.
