Mike Compton and Joe Newberry: “Last Chance”
Peghead Nation’s Monroe-Style Mandolin instructor and his duo partner play a classic banjo tune from Virginia old-time musician Hobart Smith.
Mike Compton and Joe Newberry passed through Northern California while on tour in 2019 and stopped by Peghead Nation HQ to play a few tunes. In this video, they play a great version of “Last Chance,” an old-time banjo classic from Virginia musician Hobart Smith.
