Aaron Weinstein is a master mandolinist and violinist, immersed in jazz, swing, and the canon of American standards. While he was in the Peghead Nation studio recording lessons for his Chord Melody Mandolin course, he played this beautiful solo version of the Rodgers and Hart song “Manhattan,” written in 1925 and recorded by Ella Fitzgerald, Bing Crosby, Dinah Washington, and many others.

Aaron’s take on this song is a beautiful example of the chord melody style that he teaches in his Chord Melody Mandolin course.
