Sharon Gilchrist: “Squirrel Hunters”
Peghead Nation mandolin instructor Sharon Gilchrist plays the old-time tune at Augusta Heritage Center's Bluegrass Week 2015 with her fellow instructors Darol Anger, Tyler Grant, Casey Henry, and Mary Burdette.
Peghead Nation’s Beginning Mandolin instructor Sharon Gilchrist joined a stellar lineup of teachers at August Heritage Center’s Bluegrass Week this summer, her sixth time teaching at the venerable music camp held at Davis and Elkins College in Elkins, West Virgina. As part of Bluegrass Week, Sharon performed the old-time tune ‘Squirrel Hunters” with some of her fellow workshop staff. Joining her on this tune are Darol Anger on fiddle, Tyler Grant on guitar, Casey Henry on banjo, and Mary Burdette on bass.
