Jeremy Kittel, Stash Wyslouch, and Todd Phillips: “On the Sunny Side of the Street”
Peghead Nation guitar instructor joins with fellow Great Lakes Music teachers to play a fun version of the 1930s standard.
During the Great Lakes Music Camp concert in October, Peghead Nation guitar teacher Stash Wyslouch joined Jeremy Kittel and Todd Phillips for a beautiful and creative take on the standard “On the Sunny Side of the Street.”
Great Lakes Music Camp is held every October on the shore of Lake Michigan, in West Olive, Michigan. Each year the organizers gather a talented group of instructors to lead three days of intensive teaching, jamming, and performances, and in its five-year history, this weekend has become a destination for bluegrass, old-time, and roots players from around the world. This October, there was another big Peghead Nation instructor contingent, including Emerald Rae, Bill Evans, Evie Ladin, Zoe Guigueno, Stash Wyslouch, and John Reischman, and it was fun to see all these folks in action both in the classroom and during the instructor concerts. Make plans to attend next year!
