Fretboard Summit All-Star Jam: “Sittin’ On Top of the World”

Peghead Nation's Scott Nygaard joins Bryan Sutton, Courtney Hartman, Bill Frisell, Blake Mills, Matt Munisteri, and Joe Henry during the Fretboard Summit Hoot.

The first Fretboard Summit held by Fretboard Journal magazine was a talent-packed weekend of inspiring performances, talks from great guitar builders, and fun workshops from Peghead Nation teachers. To close out the Saturday evening show in the big tent, Bryan Sutton called on his fellow Summit stars to join him in a take on Mississippi Sheiks’ “Sittin’ On Top of the World.” Peghead Nation’s Scott Nygaard joined Sutton, Courtney Hartman, Bill Frisell, Blake Mills, Matt Munisteri, and Joe Henry on stage, and they brought some heat to the chilly California coast.
