John Reischman is one of the premier mandolinists of his generation, a master instrumentalist renowned for his impeccable taste and tone. In this video, John plays his stunning chord melody arrangement of the bebop standard composed by Charlie Parker and first recorded in 1946, “Yardbird Suite.” This video was featured on David Benedict’s great Mandolin Mondays series, which you can see on his YouTube channel and on MandolinCafe.
