Hawktail: “Antilopen”
Peghead Nation fiddle instructor Brittany Haas plays a Swedish fiddle tune with her powerhouse garage band.
This is quite the garage band. Brittany Haas is a founding member of the progressive acoustic band Hawktail, and they are playing “Antilopen,” a tune written by Swedish fiddler Lena Jonsson, in this video. The band is made up of virtuoso players and composers, with Brittany on fiddle, Paul Kowert on bass, Jordan Tice on guitar, and Dominic Leslie on mandolin, and they’ve just announced a series of tour dates through summer 2021.
Check out Hawktail’s latest album, Formations.
To learn fiddle with Brittany, enroll in her Fiddle Styles Workshop course on Peghead Nation.
