Minor Triads on the Top Middle Strings, Part 1: E Minor and A Minor
It’s time for more close-voiced minor triads, this time on the top middle strings: the D, G, and B strings. Mark starts with E minor, showing the voicings up the neck and suggesting that you not worry too much about fingering as you find the voicings. Then, before going on the key of A minor, he shows you an exercise combining E minor voicings on the top three strings and the top middle strings. After showing you the A minor voicings on the top middle strings, you’ll learn to combine E minor and A minor on the top three and top middle strings.
