Elixir® Strings Artist Series presents guitarist Clive Carroll discussing some of the Heitor Villa-Lobos exercises that he uses to maintain dexterity and finger independence in his picking hand. He also shows how some of the exercises find their way into his fingerstyle tunes.
Carroll studied guitar and composition at London's Trinity College, and shortly after graduating embarked on a solo steel-string guitar career, recording several critically acclaimed albums and touring with the likes of John Renbourn and Tommy Emmanuel. He is currently recording a new album in Essex, England.
