Our ukulele instructor walked through a chord-melody version of “Bye Bye Blues,” demonstrated other musical styles, and more during an hour-long takeover of our Facebook page.

In April, our Ukulele instructor Marcy Marxer took over the Peghead Nation Facebook page for an hour and answered a few questions from students in her Peghead Nation course and played tunes both solo and with Cathy Fink.

Early in the workshop, Marcy walked through a chord melody version of the classic song “Bye Bye Blues,” and she sent along her chord charts for that song so you can download them below.

Note that due to the vagaries of Facebook streaming, the audio and video of the first minute of the workshop are not quite lined up. But worry not, things get aligned right before Marcy starts playing!

We have a virtual tip jar for Marcy, and you can contribute to that at any time to show the ukulele love!
