2015 Grammy Nominations

Roots musicians score numerous nominations.

Nominations for the 2015 Grammy Awards were announced on December 5. Most of the nominations for acoustic and roots musicians fall under the recently created American Roots Music genre, which are listed below. One exception is Chris Thile and Edgar Meyer’s album Bass and Mandolin, which managed to infiltrate the Contemporary Instrumental category.
